Nigerian actress and model Annie Macaulay Idibia has revealed what keeps her strong following her divorce from music legend 2Face Idibia.
Speaking at the Headies Awards ceremony held on Sunday, in Lagos, Annie declared that she doesn’t joke with her “backbone.”
When asked by a reporter about her family, the actress made it clear that her children, Isabella and Olivia are now her everything.
Responding in Pidgin English, she said:
“You mean my children? My children dey Kampe. The first one dey Yankee, she dey go school. No play with that girl o. I don’t play with my kids. Na them be my backbone.”

“Right now I’m working on my own TV station, my own online TV, Annie Macaulay TV. I want everyone to be ready for different things. We’ve already done a series which will soon air on Annie Macaulay TV, very soon.”
Annie, who recently reverted to her maiden name publicly, made waves during the event when she subtly threw shade at her now ex-husband while introducing herself on stage.
Reintroducing herself, she said: “My name is Annie Idi—oh sorry, Annie Macaulay. Hey, single ladies!”
Her comments come just a day after reports surfaced that 2Face Idibia had introduced his new partner, Natasha Osawaru, to his mother.
Annie’s latest statements suggest she is focusing on her children and personal growth as she moves forward.
