One of the three women involved in accusing Manchester United player Antony of violent behaviour has dropped her case.
This is according to a new report released days after the women publicly accused the Brazilian winger.
The 23-year-old is accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin on four occasions. This accusation is being investigated by police in Sao Paulo as well as Manchester.

However, Antony has denied any wrongdoing, and has neither been arrested nor charged.
Also, 33-year-old banker, Ingrid Lana, during an interview in Brazil, alleged that Antony was aggressive towards her in October 2022. She claimed that the football player could have killed her with his actions.
Meanwhile, a third case, involving a car incident, has been dropped by alleged victim, Rayssa de Freitas.
Rayssa, a law student had claimed she needed hospital treatment after an incident in May 2022. She claimed she was attacked by Antony and Mallu Ohana ā the ex-wife of Brazil player Dudu ā in Antonyās Land Rover after the three left a Sao Paulo nightclub.
According to The Telegraph, the report has been retracted in full.
Antony temporarily dropped by Manchester United
Reportedly, De Freitas left the car when it stopped at a traffic light. According to reports, she later required hospital treatment after the incident.
In the midst of all these, Manchester United were unaware of the existence of a police report. It was until the Brazilian media covered the story earlier this month. This was despite the alleged incident happening three months prior to Antony’s Old Trafford move.
The Brazil player is presently on paid leave from United until further notice.

A club statement released on 10 September read: ‘Manchester United acknowledges the allegations made against Antony. Players who have not participated in international matches are due back in training on Monday.
‘However, it has been agreed with Antony that he will delay his return until further notice in order to address the allegations.”
