APC chieftain, Jesutega Onokpasa, is dead

Jesutega Onokpasa, a prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a respected political commentator, has passed away.

The lawyer, who was a member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council during the 2023 general elections, died on Monday under circumstances that have not yet been revealed.

His death was confirmed on Tuesday by pro-APC supporter Okezie Atani through a post on X.

Onokpasa was known for his strong backing of President Bola Tinubu, often appearing on television to publicly defend the APC-led government.

He will be remembered for his active role in the political landscape and his contributions to the party’s efforts.

He is survived by his wife and children.
