Asake reunites with estranged father, baby mama and daughter after public backlash

Popular Nigerian singer, Ahmed Ololade, professionally known as Asake, has made peace with his father, baby mama, and daughter following weeks of public criticism over alleged neglect.

The reconciliation followed intense reactions on social media after the artiste was accused of abandoning members of his family after attaining fame and financial success.

Earlier in 2025, Asake came under fire when his baby mama, Adijat, alleged that he had failed to take responsibility for her and their child despite her support during his early struggles.

In March 2025, his father, Fatai Odunsi, a stroke survivor, also publicly accused the singer of distancing himself and neglecting his welfare.

The situation drew widespread condemnation from netizens and several public figures, prompting Asake to reportedly reach out to his father, with assurances that he would cover his medical expenses and provide him with a house.

A photograph of the singer with his father, which began circulating online on Friday morning, has now suggested that the rift between them has been resolved.

The development comes just days after Asake was also reported to have reunited with his daughter and baby mama, indicating a broader reconciliation within his family.
