The presidential candidate of the Peopleās Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has facilitated with the Adamawa State Governor-elect, Umaru Fintiri.
Fintiri was re-elected at Saturday’s supplementary election held in the state, defeating the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Aisha āBinaniā Dahiru.
Atiku via his Twitter handle on Wednesday described Fintiri’s victory as a win for democracy, saying the win was a precursor for his victory at the presidential election tribunal.

He added that he would reclaim his stolen mandate from APC at the election petition tribunal for the country and its people.

āThe lesson from this exercise and others is the need for Nigerians to be vigilant and never give in to anti-democratic forces whose objective is to snatch, run with and undermine the mandate of the people as freely expressed in their votes.
