Shooting Stars head coach Nurudeen Aweroro has praised his players’ resilience after a dramatic 4-2 victory over Warri Wolves. The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) clash delivered intensity and attacking quality.

Warri Wolves struck early through Peter Ita in the sixth minute. However, the Oluyole Warriors responded with first-half goals from Sodiq Ibrahim, Lucky Emmanuel, and Desmond Ojietefian.

Stephen Amos added a fourth in the 70th minute to seal control. Although Othuke Egbo pulled one back late, the hosts remained dominant.

“It wasn’t easy for us to go without a win in our previous two fixtures. That’s why we resolved to do our best to end the barren run,” Aweroro told 3SCfanstv.
