Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has stirred reactions on social media after speaking to her followers during a live session on the popular platform TikTok.
During the live interaction, the “Rush” crooner told viewers not to send her virtual gifts while she was online.
She explained that although she values the love and attention from fans, she does not need people to spend money on digital items for her during the session.
The moment quickly spread across the internet after clips from the livestream appeared on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
In the video, the singer looked calm as she chatted with followers and asked them to stop sending gifts like roses and other digital tokens.

Since gaining fame, Ayra Starr has released several popular songs and worked with artistes from different parts of the world.
