Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Kola, has decided to pull back from his pursuit of fellow contestant, Dede, after noticing that she is not interested in a romantic relationship with him.
The development came on Tuesday after Kola had his diary session and therapy session with Ibifubara.
He opened up to some housemates, saying he felt Dede was not being honest with him about her feelings.
He noted that her closeness to other male housemates, Jason Jae and Koyin, had left him confused.
Kola had earlier shown interest in Dede and made it clear that he wanted more than just friendship.
However, Dede stated that she already has a relationship outside the house and was only willing to maintain a platonic connection with him.
While chatting with Sabrina, Kola explained that he was beginning to feel like he was in a similar situation to that of former housemates Ozo and Nengi during the Lockdown season in 2020.
He said he did not want to be seen in the same light and was ready to distance himself from Dede.

Kola expressed hope that his team outside the house would change the way the public views the situation between him and Dede and promised to also set things straight when he leaves the show.
During the Lockdown edition, Ozo was known for constantly seeking a relationship with Nengi, who repeatedly insisted on staying just friends.
Though she made it clear that she was not available, her actions at times created confusion about her true intentions.
This led to public criticism of Ozo, who was mocked by some viewers.
Kola now seems determined not to end up in a similar situation.
