BBNaija Allstars: Mercy Eke walks out on Adekunle during first meeting as Head of House

On Sunday, July 23, the Big Brother Naija Allstars kicked off to a unanimous embrace from viewers across the globe due to the drama and excitement that the competition promises to produce.

Specifically, the Big Brother Allstars contest is about the gathering of various housemates from previous seasons of the Big Brother Naija franchise. The show also includes two previous winners, Mercy Eke from Peppe Dem edition (2019) and Whitemoney, the winner of the 2021 edition tagged Shine Ya Eyes.

On Monday, July 24, Adekunle, a contestant from Big Brother Naija Level Up edition emerged winner of the Head of House games.

While, Adekunle won the HOH title, Mercy Eke won immunity for the week.

Mercy Eke, on Monday night, walked out of a meeting convened by the Head of House, Adekunle.

The HoH convened the meeting after Mercy flouted the rules of the reality show by invading the Head of House lounge and asking Adekunle and his friends Soma, Cross, Seyi and Frodd to come out to the garden for practice.

When Adekunle and his friends refused to go to the garden on the grounds that they were tired, Mercy lambasted him, saying he does not behave like a Head of House.

She also warned him that none of his friends would be linear with him should any of them emerge Head of House in the future.

Angered by Mercy’s outburst, Adekunle convened a meeting at the lounge with all the housemates, but Mercy stormed out midway.

Pere went to Mercy’s bed at the end of the meeting and inquired why she walked out of the meeting.

She explained that she was angry after Adekunle and his friends said they were tired despite chatting away when she asked them to come out for practice.

She said, “He [Adekunle] dismissed me. He said he wasn’t going to do it [meeting] today. All of them, Soma.

“I don’t know what you guys were gisting about. It was not like you were tired. If you were sleeping, it’s a different thing. You all were all awake, talking and laughing. So, why can’t you [Adekunle] use that energy to address the f*cking task?”

Adekunle inferred: “What you did was wrong.”

“What did I do? And I will do it to even you. Deal with it,” she said.
