Birmingham City have parted ways with manager Wayne Rooney after on 15 games in charge of the Championship club.
The former Manchester United player was appointed on 11 October after the dismissal of John Eustace. The Blues were sixth in the Champions table at the time.
However, their fortunes have changed for the worse under 38-year-old Rooney, sitting 20th on the table.

Only two of Rooney’s 15 games in charge were wins. Monday’s 3-0 loss to Leeds United was Birmingham’s ninth loss under the former D.C United manager.
Birmingham also dismissed Rooney’s backroom staff, former Wolves player Carl Robinson.
“Football is a results business and I recognise they’ve not been at the level I wanted them to be,” Rooney said.
Meanwhile, professional development coach Steve Spooner has been tasked with the interim management of the club.
