Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has spoken out after being linked to a romance scam where a woman claimed she lost $5,000 to someone using his identity.
The incident came to light when the 45-year-old actor shared on his Facebook page a message he received from the woman.
She alleged that she had proof of the scam, including emails, pictures, and bank transactions, and revealed that she was planning to consult her lawyer.
Ninalowo made it clear that he had no involvement in the matter and cautioned the public about impersonators who use his name to trick people.
He explained that he often receives messages from individuals accusing him after they realize they were misled by fraudsters pretending to be him.
The actor urged his fans and the public to be vigilant when dealing with anyone online who claims to be him.

He stated that these impostors target unsuspecting people by creating fake identities and warned that anyone starting an online relationship with such accounts is either being deceived or at risk of falling into a scam.
