Neckties have been nothing short of elegant and mind blowing. Ever since it was first worn in the early 1600’s (1618 – 1648) as traditional small knotted neckerchiefs, they have helped elevate formal dressings a notch higher.
Ties are now rocked with suits, tuxedos, office shirts, jackets, sleeveless sweaters and much more. Its usage or application is almost endless In formal fashion. Even though it is not so applicable in the causal dress styles, scarfs, mufflers, head-ties have taken the place of a necktie. But at the end, they all belong to the big ” tie” family.
Although first worn by only men, ties in the modern fashion world are being rocked by everyone.

While the traditional neckties look formal, bowties switch it up. Monochromatic bowties look best as it does not look busy but elegant and sharp.
In conclusion, velvet bow ties preach classiness and it’s easy to notice. Anytime you are in doubt for a tie for your next event, choose a monochromatic velvet bow tie.
