BREAKING: Nollywood actor Mr Ibu is reportedly dead

Popular Nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, is dead.

Multiple sources close to the veteran actor and comedian have reported his passing at Evercare hospital.

This follows the passing of Quadri Oyebamiji, also known as Sisi Quadri, just 24 hours ago.

Recall that the comic actor underwent surgeries resulting in the amputation of his leg, few months ago.

Prior to his death, there were speculations about his well-being due to his absence from the limelight for over three years, and the news of his being bedridden had gone viral.

There has also been no public comment from the actor’s family or representatives at this time.

Meanwhile, several notable Nollywood figures have posted lighted candles on his behalf to mourn the actor.
