Nigerian singer, Olawale Ibrahim Ashimi, popularly known as Brymo, has revealed a surprising revelation behind his decision to turn down collaborations from his female colleague, Simi and her husband, Adekunle Gold.
Brymo made the revelation when a fan suggested that Simi’s husband, Adekunle Gold, should consider featuring him on his upcoming fifth album, ‘Tequila Ever After’.
The singer in his response said both Adekunle Gold and Simi had approached him for collaborations in the past but turned the request down.

Brymo cited that he turned down the collaboration request because he wanted to ‘get intimate’ with Simi and she refused.
He added that he was not aware at that time whether Simi and Adekunle Gold were a couple.
Brymo shared: “Though AG reached out later, I like to think that he didn’t check in again, by will or fate because I turned down same request many years before… I also did same with Simi… said I wanted to get intimate to create intensity.. I didn’t know they were together of course.”

Reacting to the revelation that is currently trending on Twitter, Adekunle Gold cautioned the singer about his useless revelation.
He asked Brymo to get help, warning him not to disrespect his wife and family
He tweeted: “Do not disrespect my wife and my family. Get Help!”
