Nissi, the sister of award-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy, has debunked rumours that their mother, Bose Ogulu, has been removed as the singer’s manager.
The claim spread online after a platform, ChaftsAfrica, circulated what it described as a screenshot of an Instagram story where Burna Boy supposedly announced that his mother would no longer manage him.
A post on 𝕏 also added to the rumours, suggesting that the singer had parted ways with her.
@Joyfultips, posted, “Just heard Burna Boy fired his mom, this whole thing is getting crazier.”

The rumour surfaced during the ongoing conversations around Burna Boy’s cancelled ‘No Sign of Weakness’ US tour.
The tour was called off earlier in the week after reports of low ticket sales.
