Bye-Election: Gov Aiyedatiwa rallies support for APC’s Ife Ehindero

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Thursday urged voters to turn out in large numbers to vote the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Ife Ehindero, in Saturday’s bye-election for the Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Governor Aiyedatiwa made this call during a campaign rally held at the Cenotaph in Ikare Akoko, Akoko North East Local Government Area.

He was joined by other party leaders including Deputy Governor Chief Olayide Adelami, APC State Chairman Engr. Ade Adetimehin, former Deputy Governor Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo, Senator Jide Ipinsagba, Chief Olusola Oke, Otunba Gbenga Elegbeleye, and Chief Gbenga Ale.

Before the rally, the governor and his team paid homage to the Olukare of Ikare Akoko, Oba Akadiri Momoh, and the Owa-ale of Ikare Akoko, Oba Adeleke Adegbite-Adedoyin. At the royal courts, Governor Aiyedatiwa introduced Ife Ehindero to the monarchs, seeking their blessings and support for the APC candidate.

During the rally, Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasised the importance of unity and solidarity among constituents, stressing the need for collective support for Ehindero and the APC. 

He urged voters to turnout in large numbers on election day, highlighting the crucial role of grassroots mobilization in securing victory for the party.

Engr. Adetimehin and other party stalwarts also expressed gratitude to the governor for his support and urged constituents to demonstrate their support by voting for the APC candidate.
