Celeb news never goes out of fashion; rather, they keep us fresh as we lap up whatever they have to dish out to the fans.

More often than not, there is one celeb gist or the other which keep fans talking and tickling over. The past weekend was not exception as former Big Brother Naija Housemate, Angel, bought herself a brand new car and took time to announce it to her fans.

Comedian Gordon was not left out as he rolled out the drums to celebrate his mother who walked down the aisle at the grand old age of 72.

And we also have other of such scintillating gist for you to also lap up.

1) When BBNaija’s Angel bought a Range Rover

Former Big Brother Naija Housemate, Angel Smith, bought herself a Range Rover and could not wait to unveil it for her fans. She took to her Instagram page to celebrate herself with the words:

“I paid rent and then I bought a car, grateful for 2021. It’s given me so much…’’

Angel was one of the housemates from the sixth season of the reality show and well, what can we say but to throw her a long congratulations. You rock girl!

2) Gordons celebrates mom as she weds at 72

Mother of ace comedian Godwin Komone, popularly known as Gordons, walked down the aisle at the ripe old age of 72 in what many feel was a rare show of love.

The comedian was full of joy as he shared photos from the wedding ceremony with the caption; “My mother got married yesterday at the age of 72. Don’t tell me true love doesn’t exist. Congratulations mama.’’

Gordons is a household name in the Nigerian comedy industry. Over the years, he has put laughter on the faces of people through his jokes.

3) Actress Ada Ameh and her teen pregnancy

Actress Ada Ameh shocked many of her fans when she revealed that she got pregnant at the age of 13 and became a mother at 14. The Nollywood star made the revelation during a chat with Chude Jideonwo on his show #WithChude.

“I became a mother at 14. I got pregnant that same year. As a matter of fact, I got pregnant in March and I had my baby in December of the same year; that means I got pregnant when I was 13 plus,” Mrs. Lucky Johnson of the popular sitcom The Johnsons, said.

The Nollywood celeb also recalled how her father sent her out of the house after she gave birth to her child.

“Sometimes when we over show love and pampering, sometimes we make mistakes. What does a 15 year old child know? The most beautiful part was that in my 15th birthday, my baby was barely 5 months old.

“I was marched out of the barracks and told never to return. My dad told the security person whom they call sentry, to not allow me in. My dad said that he was done with me; so at 15, I got my independence,” she added.

Sadly, Ada also spoke on the death of her daughter who died early last year.

“This was the one – losing my daughter – that broke me. “What am I doing? What next? What am I going to do? “That was my number one praise singer. That was my number one cheerleader. That was my prayer partner.”

4) And Laycon clocked 28

The weekend also saw Big Brother Naija Season 5 winner, Laycon, celebrate his 28th birthday. To mark the day, the Ogun State-born celeb shared lovely photos of himself which depicted some important part of him.

His friends, colleagues, and fans were not left out in the mood of the occasion as they took to his Instagram page to celebrate him.

5) Just like yesterday, Funke Akindele-Bello marked 14 years as Jenifa

Popular actress, Funke Akindele-Bello, celebrated the 14th year she has been acting the comic role of Jenifa. She started acting the role in the Yoruba movie she created titled ‘Jenifa’.

The second part of the movie, ‘The Return of Jenifa’, was also a hit but she did not stop there as she effortlessly transformed ‘Jenifa’ into a TV series which has become one of the most watched sitcoms in Nigeria today.

And being in one act for 14 years is no joke, hence she had cause to celebrate and was thankful for all the successes that has come with it.
