As Liverpool bid to seal a last-16 spot in the UEFA Champions League against Ajax Amsterdam at the Johan Cruyff Arena tonight, they have been boosted by the return of Darwin Nunez and Ibrahima Konate to action.
Meanwhile, Thiago Alcantara remains absent as Nunez and Konate returned to training after respective hamstring and muscle injuries.
Thiago is yet to overcome the ear infection that ruled him out of the 1-0 loss at Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Liverpool only needs a draw to progress from Group A to the last 16 stages.
Should they lose, Jurgen Klopp’s men will require a point against Napoli at Anfield on 1 November to be certain of advancing.
