Veteran entertainer and activist, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has taken to social media to announce that he is searching for a wife for his 46-year-old son.
In a Facebook post on Friday, Charly Boy revealed that his son, who holds a master’s degree, had previously been married but is now divorced.
According to him, the experience seems to have left his son wary of women.
“My people, I still dey look for wife for dis my son. E don marry once, divorce. Now, e be like say e dey fear woman,” he wrote.

Charly Boy described his son as humble, standing at 5 feet 11 inches, and a father to a 20-year-old.
He added that only “authentic graduates” from good homes with humble beginnings should show interest.
“He is a master’s degree holder, age 46. 5ft 11ins. Very humble. He has a 20yr old son. If you’re not an authentic graduate, don’t bother. I need to tie him to Nigeria,” Charly Boy stated.
The entertainer further disclosed that his son would be arriving in Nigeria next month, stressing his desire to see him settle down in the country.
