Chioma and I were shaking when we found out, Davido confirms welcoming twins same month Ifeanyi dies

Renowned Afrobeats singer, David Adekele, popularly known as Davido, has confirmed the joyful arrival of a set of twins with his wife, Chioma Rowland. 

Last week, the internet was abuzz with news of Davido and Chioma welcoming a baby boy and girl in the United States.

During his appearance at the United Masters Select Con event on Saturday, the ‘Unavailable’ singer revealed that when they discovered they were expecting twins, both he and his wife were filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness.

Davido further shared that the arrival of the twins in the same month as the passing of their son, Ifeanyi, was an unexpected yet comforting surprise.

Ifeanyi in October 2022 having reportedly drowned in his father’s residence in Lagos State.

He said: “When my wife and I found out, we were shaking, and it was in the same month my son passed. My son passed away last year in October, and my wife gave birth this year in October.”
