Christian Pulisic: AC Milan sign winger from Chelsea


American winger Christian Pulisic has joined Italian outfit AC Milan after leaving Chelsea.

Pulisic signs on a four-year deal that will see him with the Rossoneri until 2027.

Announcing his departure on their official website, Chelsea stated Pulisic “made an early impact with an assist in the UEFA Super Cup against Liverpool before announcing himself on the Premier League stage against Burnley.”

Pulisic netted a hat-trick at Turf Moor, becoming only the second American to achieve that feat in the English top flight.

He concluded his debut season in scintillating fashion, playing a key role in helping Chelsea secure a top four finish.

The 24-year-old also scored in the FA Cup final against Arsenal and ended the campaign with 11 goals in all competitions.

In the run-in to the memorable Champions League triumph in 2020/21, Pulisic produced some key moments. He scored in the Champions League semi-final first leg against Real Madrid and assisted a goal for Mason Mount in the second leg.

Pulisic won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup in his third season, and he also broke the record for the most Champions League goals scored by an American.
