CM Punk has returned to the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) for the first time since 2014.
The professional wrestler whose real name is Phil Jack Brooks appeared at the recently concluded Survivor Series 2023 that took place in Chicago, Illinois on Sunday, November 26.
CM Punk’s return is coming after intense speculation across various social media platforms and tabloids.

His return emerged as a surprise as the wrestling superstar left the organization on a bitter note in 2014. Punk’s final appearance in a WWE ring was at the 2014 Royal Rumble where he stayed away from the wrestling ring until his return to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), WWE’s closest rival in recent times in 2021.

Equally, Brooks has used the CM Punk moniker for his entire professional wrestling career. His character has been consistently portrayed as outspoken, confrontational, sharp-tongued, anti-establishment, straight edge, and iconoclastic, most of which are inspired by his real-life views and personality.
He is a three-time WWE world champion and WWE’s 19th Triple Crown Champion; the fastest wrestler to do so, in 203 days.
