Trinity Guy, a popular content creator and prankster whose real name is Maruf Abdullahi is set to be charged by the Nigeria Police Force following multiple complaints against him. Various groups, NGOs, and CLOs have expressed interest in the case.
The police spokesperson emphasized that the law should be applied without sentiment and that others should learn from Trinity’s actions.
According to reports gathered, the Oyo State police command had invited Trinity for questioning regarding a viral skit involving a female minor.

Trinity reported to the command on Friday, and further updates were expected after his meeting with the Deputy Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department.

The police command had also arrested and was questioning the parents of the minor, Isiaka Ahmed and Rofiat.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the video depicted explicit sexual exploitation of the minor, and the skit maker claimed to have obtained consent from both parents before uploading the content. The parents are currently being questioned alongside Trinity by the gender and juvenile-related offences desk of the SCID.
