The State Governor Senator Prince Bassey Otu has commissioned the State Art Specialist Medical Facility in Ochon, Obubra Local Government Area of the State.
The health facility which had the capacity of carrying two thousand patients is estimated at the cost of 2.5 billion naira.
Governor Otu, represented by the Commissioner for Health, Dr Henry Egbe Ayuk, has urged the general public to avail themselves of this ample opportunity and get themselves treated.

The facilitator of the hospital said the sprawling facility is the first of such built so far in five out of six geo-political zones of the country in the last four years.
The final for the last zone is on course, according to Etuh, pregnant women, elderly, and children access free medical diagnosis and treatments during the five days treatment held as part of the commissioning.
