Popular nightlife promoter Okechukwu Pascal, known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has called on President Bola Tinubu to take urgent steps to end open grazing in Nigeria.
His appeal came after a deadly attack in Benue State, where many lives were lost.
Using his Instagram platform, the businessman expressed deep concern over the violence and urged the president to put a stop to public grazing across the country.
He argued that ranching is a better option and would help prevent future killings linked to clashes between herders and farmers.
Chiefpriest also encouraged residents of Benue to be alert and protect themselves.

He stated that self-defence in the face of life-threatening attacks should not be seen as wrong.
He wrote, “My President, make that order now!!! End public grazing. The level of damage done is brutal. This madness has to stop. Feed your cattle in your ranches.
“Benue people sharpen your sword⚔️. No gree for anybody to kpai you. To defend yourselves no be crime!!!.”
