Adekunle Gold’s ‘Tequila Ever After’ peaks Daniel Regha’s ‘top 10 albums of 2023, check out other music projects that made the list (NRTC Exclusive)


This is the concluding part of the three-part exclusive interview session featuring social media commentator and influencer, Daniel Regha.

As the year gradually winds to a conclusion, Regha in a conversation with the foremost news platform, News Round The Clock (NRTC) disclosed some of the major projects across various sectors that fascinated him.

In this episode, Daniel Regha, who is one of the leading social media commentators unraveled his most pivotal projects of the year 2023.

On this list, the renowned social media influencer disclosed his top music projects for the year.

“These albums may not be a big mainstream success like many released this year,” he stated. “Due to the fact that people might get bored and ready to skip at first listen,” he continued.

Regha added, ‘but they’re standouts when taking musicianship into consideration.”

Albums Are About Connectivity…

Speaking further during session, Regha mentioned that music is predominantly about connection.

He had this to say, “No album is perfection, however, the engineering plus creativity is commendable.”

Regha went further to state, “In some albums like the Top 3, most tracks off the album connected with one another, were relatable, and surpassed the original intent of the artiste to listeners.”

He went further to say, “the amazing vocals isn’t one to miss either. These albums are innovative and are a few years ahead of its time.”

On his list, sensational artiste, Adekunle Gold’s music project, ‘Tequile Ever After‘ finished as the echelon of his selection.

In July 2023, Nigerian singer-songwriter, Adekunle Gold released his 5th studio album, Tequila Ever After.

2. Seyi VibezVibe Till Thy Kingdom Come

Vibe Till Thy Kingdom Come is the third studio album by Nigerian street-pop singer Seyi Vibez. It was released on 8 June 2023 through Vibez Inc and Dvpper Music.

4. FlavourAfrican Royalty

The twelve-track album features collaborations with The Cavemen, Efya, Ejyk Nwamba, and his previously released hit song ā€œGame Changer.ā€

Flavour released, “African Royalty” on the 1st of December, 2023.

5. Ric HassaniAfro Love

Nigerian Talented artist, Ric Hassani wrapped up 2023 with a lovely project called ā€œAfro Loveā€.

The 15-tracks project features the likes of Bella Shmurda, and Bayanni.

6. TeniTears of the sun

Dr Dolor Entertainment signee, Teni is a very skilled Nigerian female singer and songwriter who just dropped a masterpiece album tagged ā€œTears Of The Sun.ā€

8. RugerRu The World

Jonzing record artiste, Ruger in September released his debut studio album. The project is titled, ‘Ru The World’.

Olamide released his 10th studio album, Unruly on August 9, 2023.

The album features different African artists such as CKay, Asake, Bnxn, Rema and Fireboy DML.

10. MohbadBlessed

In September 2023, the world lost a prominent figure, 27-year-old singer-songwriter, Mohbad.

Months prior to his sudden demise, Mohbad released his 8-track EP titled, Blessed.

The music project has continued to receive applause from music pundits following it’s debut mid-year.
