You’re the strongest woman, Davido celebrates Chioma after the release of fourth album ‘Timeless’


Superstar afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has thanked his wife, Chioma Rowland for being the strongest woman in the time of the storm.

The award-winning musician made this known via his Instagram page as he announced the release of his fourth album ‘Timeless’ on Friday.

Davido wrote: “At long last – WE are back. The journey from my last album to this album has been a whirlwind to say the least. I recall sitting and staring over the ocean not too long ago, wondering if I could get here again, after all I’ve been through… but with your love and support, we made it. I’m not sure what comes after this but I wanted to give you my heart, soul and energy.

“Today I present you “TIMELESS”. 3 So many people to thank who helped make this happen but first, I must send a special thank you to the strongest woman I know, @thechefchi ! Thank you, thank you, thank you. BW And to all my supporters – I love you. Now, enjoy! I’ll see you all on road soon!”

The singer was reported to have conducted a traditional wedding with Chioma last year after the death of their 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke in 2022.

In the same year, the singer announced Chioma as his spouse on Wikipedia — a free, open-content online encyclopedia created through the collaborative effort of a community of users known as Wikipedians.

Davido who took a break from the spotlight and social media, after losing his son to death happily announced in an interview with skit maker and actor, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, known as Kie-kie, a few hours to the release of ‘Timeless’ that he is married.

The DMW CEO told Kie Kie he tied the knot with his third baby mama, Chioma Rowland, showing off his wedding ring.

In the interview, seen as his first, he talked about different issues ranging from his new album, challenges faced and readiness to get back on stage, and a proposed music tour.

“Before I went on break, I actually had an album ready. I traveled, it was cr@zy. I am married. A lot of different things but we’re ready to get back on the road tour.

“Just being away, I have had a lot to think about, time to rest, reflect on a lot of family time, and definitely a time to make music again and remake the album.”

Recall that NRTC reported that the musician last week made an announcement on social media that he is ready to get back to music and unveil his new body of work titled ‘Timeless’.
