Afrobeats sensation Davido has been selected as one of the inductees for the 2026 Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame in Atlanta.

Organisers unveiled Davido among the latest group of inductees ahead of the induction ceremony scheduled to take place on June 1 at Atlanta’s Historic Westside.

The recognition places the “Timeless” hitmaker among notable figures celebrated for their contributions to Black culture and the global entertainment industry.

Other personalities announced for induction include Ludacris, Atlanta-based artiste and philanthropist Paul Morton, and former Atlanta mayor Maynard Jackson.

With the honour, Davido joins the list of African music icons previously acknowledged by the organisation, including late Afrobeats legend Fela Kuti.
