Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has identified Asake, Rema, and Omah Lay as the next set of artists likely to dominate the genre after the era of himself, Wizkid, and Burna Boy, widely referred to as the “Big 3.”
The singer shared his thoughts while answering questions during a recent livestream session with popular streamer Carter Efe.
“Asake, Omah Lay and Rema are the next GOATs of Afrobeats,” he said.

During the same interaction, Davido also spoke about his dream music collaborations, revealing his desire to work with global superstar Rihanna and American singer Kehlani.
“I would love do a song with Rihanna, I think me and Rihanna would make some dope music. Kehlani as well,” the DMW boss said.
