Nigerian recording artiste, David Adeleke who is better known as Davido disclosed that his wife, Chioma Rowland initially rejected his relationship proposal.
The singer-songwriter made this known during a session with travel vlogger, Tayo Aina. He mentioned that Chef Chi, as Chioma Rowland is fondly called never wanted to be intimate with him.
It would be recalled that the couple surreptitiously tied the knot in the concluding part of 2022 after they lost their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

Speaking, Davido said he first met Chioma while they were both studying at Babcock University in Osun State.
He said it was love at first sight, adding that immediately he set his eyes on her, he asked one of his aides to call her for him but Chioma declined.

He said, “I was in a Prado, and I looked behind and I saw this girl walking. Just there with her bag, it was Chioma.
“I told Lati omo, I like that girl, go and call that girl for me. He called her but she did not answer me at the time.”
The 30 Billion Gang head honcho, however, said Chioma later came to Lagos and they linked up.
The couple got married shortly after the death of their son, Ifeanyi who drowned in a swimming pool at the singer’s Banana Island mansion last year.
