Days after declaring his intention to unravel the mystery surrounding his supposed demise, Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Oladimenji, known as Oladips, has apologised to Nigerians.
In an interview with Naija FM in Lagos State, Oladips clarified that he never intended to mislead Nigerians, emphasising that the news of his death was never a rumor.
The Lalakukulala crooner admitted to posting a video urging people to take him to the hospital but confessed that he couldn’t recall the events that unfolded afterward.
The ex-Edge Records artist revealed that, at the time of the posted death statement, his management mistakenly believed he was deceased, noting that he was actually unconscious.Ā
He clarified that no medical professional had officially certified his death, and the announcement was not a publicity stunt for his newly launched album.Ā

Furthermore, he asserted that even in the hypothetical scenario of his demise, his family would refrain from sharing such information publicly.
Expanding on his experience, he asserted that he underwent a series of traditional rites that effectively brought him back to life.Ā
According to Oladips, this revival occurred three days after the rituals.Ā
He emphasized that throughout the traditional rites, his mother did not disclose any details to anyone.
Recall that News Round The Clock (NRTC) 14 November reported about the unfortunate news of the passing of the āChacheā crooner.Ā
In an official statement from the singerās management, he peacefully departed at 10:14 p.m. on Tuesday. The family, in their grief, requested privacy during this difficult time.
The statement disclosed that Oladipsā remains were with his family, and the specific cause of his death was not publicly disclosed.
