English footballer, Declan Rice joined the English Premier League (EPL) leaders, Arsenal from London side, West Ham for the sum of Ā£105million during the summer.
Declan Rice has continued to prove himself as one of the best signings of the 2023/24 season since he joined Arsenal in August 2023.
On Tuesday, December 5, his stoppage time header extended Arsenal’s lead at the top of the Premier League table as they overcame Luton Town 4-3 away at Kenilworth Road.

The fast-paced game saw Arsenal expectedly take the lead through a Gabriel Martinelli goal after receiving a pass from Bukayo Saka.
Five minutes after taking the lead, Luton Town’s defender, Gabriel Osho equalized before Gabriel Jesus put Arsenal back ahead moments prior to the half-time whistle.
Four minutes into the commencement of second half, Luton were back on level terms after Elijah Adebayo brought them back into the game.
For the first time in the game, Luton would take the lead after former Chelsea and Aston Villa midfielder, Ross Barkley benefitted from Arsenal’s goalkeeper, David Raya’s howler.
Kai Havertz would score for Arsenal in the 60th minute before Declan Rice scored the winner in the concluding moments of the game.
Following Arsenal’s win against Luton Town, they will be going five points ahead of second-place side, Liverpool and six points ahead of defending champions, Manchester City who will be playing Sheffield United and Aston Villa respectively on Wednesday, December 6.
Elsewhere, Wolves defeated Vincent Kompany’s Burnley who are currently in the relegation zone.
