Nollywood actress Didi Ekanem has admonished young women to empower themselves financially and desist from relying on men for money.
Speaking via her Instagram platform on Thursday morning, the talented actress and businesswoman mentioned that young women without immense responsibility should begin to amass ideal knowledge of how to make money before settling down for marriage or welcoming kids.
She added in her post that often times, married women are always bugging her for financial aid daily.
Didi Ekanem stated that this isn’t methodology of living and women should become effective in being responsible from a tender age.

“Marriage is not a ticket to financial freedom,” she said.
“Start up a business even if na to sell okro and crayfish, sell it and sell it big.
No business wey no dey yield profit.
Some marriages comes with combined efforts financially…so prepare not to lack on your own part.”
