The Federal Government has implored the Labour unions to refrain from initiating a strike action, emphasizing that the disputed issues can only find resolution when employees are actively at work.
This plea was made during a meeting with Labour representatives held yesterday in Abuja.
In response, the Labour Unions advocated for increased wage awards.
Additional resolutions involved the establishment of a sub-committee, tasked with formulating a comprehensive plan for the implementation of all aspects related to government interventions aimed at mitigating the impact of fuel subsidy removal.
