Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze has received a call up to the senior England team for next month’s Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Eze has been in great form for Palace, scoring six goals in his last eight Premier League games.
The 24-year-old had been linked with the Super Eagles of Nigeria. He was spotted by former NFF president Amaju Pinnick and former Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr.

In 2019, Pinnick met with the then QPR playmaker to talk him into commiting fully to the Super Eagles. Pinnick had also met with Tammy Abraham in an attempt to convince him to switch allegiance & play for Super Eagles.
The Three Lions play Malta in Ta’Qali on 16 June, before facing North Macedonia three days later.
England top the early Group C table after beating Italy and Ukraine in their opening two qualifying matches in March.
