Nancy Nnadi, the Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz Limited, has issued a public apology to gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and retracted earlier defamatory statements made against her, effectively bringing both civil and criminal defamation cases to an end.
The retraction followed legal proceedings instituted by Chinwo’s legal team, Law Corridor. The actions included Suit No. GWD/CV/40/25 and Case No. CR/150/2025.
In a statement released on Tuesday and signed by Emmanuel Omaga, Associate Partner and Head of the Tech, IP, Entertainment, Media & Sports Law Group at Law Corridor, the firm expressed satisfaction with the outcome.
“We acknowledge and welcome the public retraction issued by Ms. Nancy Nnadi a.k.a. Coach Nancy, Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz Limited, regarding the defamatory statements previously made against Minister Mercy Chinwo Blessed.
We are pleased that the matter has been resolved with full compliance, including the deletion of the defamatory content and a formal public retraction,” the statement read.
