EFCC arrests 31 suspected internet fraudsters in Nasarawa

The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 31 individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud in Nasarawa State.

The Commission, in a statement posted on its X page on Tuesday, said the suspects were apprehended on July 1 in Nasarawa Toto following actionable intelligence linking them to alleged cybercrime activities.

According to the anti-graft agency, items recovered from the suspects at the time of arrest include several high-end mobile phones and laptops.

The EFCC stated that the suspects will be charged in court upon the conclusion of investigations.
