Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek has joined Frankfurt on loan from Manchester United for the rest of the season.
The player already travelled for his medicals with the German club this week. His move is set to be effected as soon as the winter transfer window opens on January 1.
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old remains available for selection in Erik ten Hag’s United team with three matches left in December.

Van de Beek will spend the second half of the season in Bundesliga. Also, an ā¬11million plus add-ons option could make the move a permanent one.
The Netherlands international has made two brief appearances, totalling 21 minutes, for the Red Devils this season.
Van de Beek caught United’s attention after netting 10 goals and supplying 11 goals while at Ajax the season before joining them. He was also part of the Ajax team that reached a first Champions League semi-final since 1997, under Ten Hag.

Frankly, it’s been a disappointing spell at United for Van de Beek. He has absolutely failed to establish himself at the club. In total, he has made only 62 appearances, having scored twice and also assisting his teammates twice.
