Embrace financial discipline, women and youth inclusion, Tinubu charges APC

Bola Tinubu is set to run for President in 2023

President Bola Tinubu has charged the leadership of the All Progressive Congress, APC, to embrace accountability, especially concerning financial discipline in the active promotion of top-level women and youth participation in the party’s day-to-day operations.

Tinubu in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale stated that the charge was to strengthen APC and firmly establish its stability as a governing party.

The President made the call yesterday during the National Caucus meeting of the party at the State House Conference Centre.

The President detailed decisions he has taken so far to reform the country’s economy, reiterating that Nigeria cannot continue to sustain the treasury-depleting fuel subsidy and losses incurred by the past foreign exchange management regime.

“We can’t continue to play poker with our economy. That is why I took the decisions I have taken so far.”
