1. Billie Ellish’s album, Hit me Hard and Soft continues to make waves
What does Billie Ellish put in her stew? Every time, her galaxy of songs captivates us. On April 8, the 22-year-old American songwriter revealed the Hit le Hard and Soft album. The album became available for streaming on May 17 and has since gained popularity. Some claim she put out a number of love songs.

The album has sold out 90, 000 copies on vinyl alone . Songs from the new album ranks in top 25 of Spotify’s Daily Top Songs USA Chart. It also ranks No.1 on Billboard Charts.
2. Nicki Minaj cancels Amsterdam show due to arrest
The rapper, who was born in Trinidad, was taken into custody at Schiphol airport due to the presence of “soft drugs” in her luggage. After paying a fine of 350 euros, she was released from custody after six hours in order to board a flight to London. Nicki Minaj asserts that the drugs discovered in her suitcase belonged to her. Even the entire event of her arrest was livestreamed by the American rapper.

The 41-year-old musician claims that due of her colour, she received “disgustingly” treatment. In response, the Dutch police state that the treatment was standard protocol and had nothing to do with her race.The rapper informs fans that tickets will be refunded at the point of admission, but she has cancelled her performance in Amsterdam as a result.
3. Davido ventures into cryptocurrency, making gains through his coin while subscribers combats losses
Despite the business nature of this news, it still deserves to be on our entertainment news list.Davido announced the introduction of his cryptocurrency on May 29 to his fanbase of millions on X. The singer collaborated with Blockchain platforms like Phantom and Solace to create his coin, Timeless Davido, $Davido.
The coin was valued at $0.007783 USD on the day of introduction. Many investors jumped on the board of this coin, investing from a little to a lot. Investments on the platform accrued to $10 million in four hours. Solana sponsored the payment of $100 to new investors.

This joy was short-lived when the prices surged by 200%. Before this, Davido had gained $474, 000 in profit. Some financial maestros had predicted the crash saying Davido used the platform to rip off investors.

5. The Smiths pose in a united front in the Bad Boys : Ride or Die movie premiere
The Smiths always shine bright no matter what . Speculations on the authencity of Jada Pinkett Smith’s marriage to Will Smith has always been a hovering topic yet it appears their bond is still strong. Will Smith is one of the main actor in the franchise Bad Boys along Martin Lawrence ‘ the third sequel of this movie is set to be released on June 7 in selected theatres worldwide.

The Smiths were spotted on the blue carpet in the movie premiere hosted in TCL Chinese Theatre in L.A on May 30 alongside Jada Pinkett Smith’s mother, Adrienne Banfield Norris.
6. Zendaya’s sweetheart, Tom Holland marks birthday on June 1st.

Tom Holland, the Spiderman actor marks his birthday on June 1. This year’s birthday makes the English actor 28 years of age. He is currently in a relationship with the Dune star, Zendaya and it appears that nothing is doing them part. They have exhibited a relationship of love and support as they are both their best cheerleaders. We wish the star an amazing year!
