Manchester City beat Arsenal 3-1 in a pulsating Premier League encounter at the Emirates on Wednesday night.
Kevin De Bruyne opened scoring in the 27th minute before Bukayo Saka’s penalty ensured the first half ended in a draw.
Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland scored second half goals to complete a remarkable win for the visitors and send Pep Guardiola’s men back to the top of the Premier League table for the first time since November.
Individual errors cost the Arsenal team on the night as City strolled to victory courtesy of brilliant attacking performances.
De Bruyne’s goal was aided by a poor Takehiro Tomiyasu back pass. The Belgian gladly stroked the ball over Aaron Ramsdale to give the Cityzens the lead.

City goalkeeper Ederson fouled Eddie Nketiah in the box before halftime as Saka stepped up to level matters.
The away side displayed a better performance in the second half and had a penalty of their own ruled out for offside against Haaland.
That did not deter them however as they advanced with a ferocious attacking intent to punish their hosts.
Defensive errors cost the Gunners
Arsenal’s defensive frailties came to the fore once again when Gabriel lost possession, allowing Bernardo Silva and Haaland set up Grealish to finish a deflected effort in the 72nd minute.
The Gunners’ hopes for a comeback were completely dashed when Haaland scored City’s third with eight minutes of normal time remaining.
With the win tonight, Manchester City are top of the table on goal difference, having played one game more than Arsenal.
