Chuba Akpom scored twice after coming of the bench, helping Ajax to a 4-1 home win against Heerenveen in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday.
The former Arsenal and Middlesbrough striker, has now banged in goals in consecutive games for Ajax.
Akpom had netted his first goal for the club in a 2-0 league win against Volendam on Thursday.

It is now two wins in two games for Ajax who had failed to win any of their 10 matches before the game against Volendam.
28-year-old Akpom was introduced in the 73rd minute, when Ajax were 2-1 ahead. The striker then grabbed Ajax’s third in the 84th minute before smashing in a 92nd minute goal for his second.
Ajax are now on 11 points and occupy the 11th spot in the 18-team league table.
Recall that Akpom won the the Golden Boot award in the 2022/23 Sky Bet Championship season. He scored a total of 28 goals 38 league appearances.

Interestingly, he was voted Championship Player of the Season and also claimed Middlesbroughās Player of the Year. Akpom also won the Playersā Player of the Year.
