The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has formally presented Eric Sekou Chelle as the new Head Coach of the Super Eagles, NRTC can confirm.
The unveiling ceremony took place on Monday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja. Key dignitaries, including Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission, NFF President Ibrahim Gusau, and NFF Secretary General Mohammed Sanusi, graced the event.
Chelle, a former Mali international defender, now makes history as the first non-Nigerian African to manage the Super Eagles. At 47, he steps into this significant role, succeeding in an appointment that has stirred mixed reactions from fans and pundits alike.

Before taking on this challenge, Chelle resigned as head coach of Algerian topflight club MC Oran. Being a former player, he has experience as a professional in France, representing clubs like Valenciennes and ChĆ¢teauroux.
