Actions haver resumes in the top six European leagues and the top players are proving their worth again

Interestingly, Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner who both left Chelsea for return to Inter Milan and RB Leipzig respectively seemed to have found their confidence and scoring booths back.
Same goes to Gabriel Jesus who has continued to score for Arsenal after completing his move from Manchester City.

English Premier League
Chelsea 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur
Harry Kane secured an important point for Tottenham Hotspur six minutes into stoppage time a dramatic draw.
The fiery London derby at Stamford Bridge ended in an angry confrontation between Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte that resulted in red cards for both managers.
It was a match filled with tempers running high throughout as Chelsea twice led before Kane’s glancing header seconds from the end gave Spurs a point.
After their dominance, Chelsea deservedly took the lead in the 19th minute when Kalidou Koulibaly flashed home a powerful volley from Marc Cucurella’s corner.

Although Spurs struggled to make any sort of impression, Kane missed their best opportunity. They later madfe up for it by drawing level after 68 minutes when Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s shot beat Edouard Mendy.
Chelsea got into the lead again Reec James scored from Raheem Sterling’s pass.
Kane will later secured a draw for the visitors when Kane headed in Ivan Perisic’s corner.
There was no handshake between Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte after their was another bust-up between the pair which ended with them both getting their marching orders.
Arsenal and Manchester City had on Saturday secured 4-2 and 4-0 victories against Leicester City and Bournemouth respectively.
German Bundesliga
Bayern Munich 2-0
Bayern Munich continued their winning start to the season with a 2-0 win over Wolfsburg at the Allianz Arena.
The German champions only need to score two goals in 10 first-half minutes in their first home game get the maximum points. English midfielder Musiala opened the scoring – his third goal in two Bundesliga games this season.
Thomas Muller added the second two minutes before half-time.
Timo Werner eventually scored on his return to RB Leipzig when he helped his team secured a 2-2 draw against Cologne.
Italian Serie A
Lazio 2-1 Bologna
Lazio also opened their campaign with a comeback win against Bologna.
The hosts went down to ten men after their goalkeeperĀ LuĆs Maximiano was sent off for handling the ball outside the box. He completely misjudged the ball when he rushed off his line and smothered the ball outside the penalty area.
Bologna eventually took the lead from the penalty spot. Romagnoli’s terrible clearance went to the path of Zaccagni twho booted Sansone instead and the referee pointed to the spot.Ā Marko Arnautovic then sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to give Bologna the lead.
After Bologna were also rduced to ten men in the first half, they held on to the lead.
But Lazio restored parity in the 68th minute after De Silvestri conceded an own goal. Ciro Immobile then secured the maximum points after being set up by Milinkovic-Savic.
AC Milan 4-2 Udinese
Defending Serie A champions AC Milan started the defense of their title with a 4-2 victory against Udinese.
Udinese drew the first blood in a thrilling first half through Rodrigo Becao who headed the visitors in front from a corner.
The host then restored parity through a Theo Hernandez penalty, before Ante Rebic put the hosts ahead from 12 yards out.
Udinese on the stroke of half-time got back on level terms thanks to Adam Masina’s strong header.
Milan quickly within seconds of the restart took the lead again. Goalscorer Masina failed to deal with Hernandez’s cross and inadvertently knocked it back into the six yard box to allow Brahim Diaz an easy tap in.
Rebic then put the result beyond doubt when he scored his second goal from close range after good work from Diaz to take the ball off Roberto Pereyra near the touchline.
Lecce 1- 2 Inter Milan
Serie A runners-up, Inter Milan also secured an important victory in their opening game of the season against Lecce.
The Nerrazurri secured the important win through a last minute header from Denzel Dumfries after Assan Ceesay. canceled out Romelu Lukaku’s opener.
Lukaku, who re-signed for Inter on a season-long loan headed home from close range to open the scoring. Lecce hit back three minutes after the restart through Assan Ceesay.
Dumfries sealed all three points with a last-gasp effort from close range following a corner.
