Everton have got some survival boost after defeating Manchester United 1-0 at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
The difference in the game was Anthony Gordon’s strike that separated both teams. This was Gordon’s second goal for the Toffees under Frank Lampard. He had scored his first in the 3-0 win over Leeds United. Gordon’s 20-yard shot flew in off Harry Maguire.
This dealt a big blow to United’s Champions League qualification hopes. It is therefore another chance for Arsenal to push for the top four.
