Erling Haaland was at his scintillating best as he scored five times while Kevin De Bruyne assisted four in Manchester City’s 6-2 mauling of Luton Town.
Haaland has now notched 27 goals in 29 matches across all competitions this season. And just when City are chasing another Treble, De Bruyne returns to fitness at just the right time. Interestingly, the Belgian has recorded 11 assists in the 12 games he has played this campaign.
De Bruyne assisted Haaland four times, showcasing their telepathic understanding, a connection that eventually whitewashed Luton.

Bernardo Silva supplied the other assist for the Norwegian before Mateo Kovacic scored a 25-yard screamer to complete the victory.
Luton tried to make a comeback, scoring twice after being doen 3-0. Jordan Clark scored the two goals from a couple of brilliant assists by Ross Barkley.
Sadly, Jack Grealish has returned to the treatment table after he limped off just 39 minutes into the game.

City are now into the FA Cup sixth round, have one leg in the Champions League quarter finals and are among the favourites to win the Premier League this term.
