#Father’sDay: 5 kinds of fathers that deserve celebration today

Estimated reading time: 4 minutes

Fathers are those remarkable individuals who play an indispensable role in our lives, and they are truly extraordinary. They possess an incredible capacity for love, support, and guidance that shapes us into the people we become. But I feel they are not celebrated enough.

Today is Father’s Day celebration all around the world, and here are five kinds of fathers that truly deserve celebration today

1. The Superheroes

We all grew up seeing them as superheroes. They ‘never’ cry. We are also amazed by how most of them shoulder many responsibilities so well. These fathers possess a unique blend of tenderness and strength. They instill in us the values of resilience, integrity, and compassion, shaping our character and influencing the way we interact with the world.

From the very beginning, they stand as steadfast pillars of strength, always ready to embrace the joys and challenges of fatherhood with unwavering dedication.

2. The Focused Fathers

These fathers talk less, watch the TV (news and commentaries) a lot, listen to the radio to keep abreast of latest information, are always focused, keep straight face, and give moral instructions like a village headmaster.

But their mere presence serves as a constant reminder of the profound impact they have on our lives. We are happy they are there, and their wisdom, patience, and boundless love form the foundation of countless cherished memories and invaluable life lessons.

3. The Adventurous Fathers

They are willing to take risks or to try out new methods, ideas, or experiences. This kind of fathers enjoys partying and playing with his children a lot. They see themselves as their kids’ mate, always willing to share in the interests of their kids, motivate them, and every day is just a new vibe.

Whether it is teaching us how to ride a bike, cheering us on from the sidelines, or offering comforting words during difficult times, these fathers have an innate ability to inspire and empower us to reach for the stars.

4. The Overprotective Fathers

Nothing must happen to their children, and they can go extra miles just to ensure that their kids are safe, especially their daughters. These fathers have an uncanny ability to provide both a sense of security and adventure, creating a balanced environment where we can flourish. We might not like them that much, but we truly know that they care for us and mean the best for us.

5. The Foster Fathers

A foster father is a man who looks after or brings up a child or children as a father, in place of the natural or adoptive father. Many of them take the burdens of bringing up a child after the demise of the natural father. They are always around us. But I feel they are not celebrated (enough). Though they have their biological children, they shower fatherly love to children who are without fathers.

Today, as you are celebrating Father’s Day, remember those who are also foster fathers in your lives today–those who always provide for you, care for you, and want the best for you.
