Ndidi is now expected to leave the Foxes and ply his club football somewhere else.

Right now, it is believed that financial aspect of capturing Ndidi by Fenerbahce seems to be the only obstacle.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers, who managed the Nigerian at Leicester, had sparked rumours of a possible reunion with Ndidi.

However, reports suggest Celtic would face difficulties financing a deal for the Nigerian midfielder during this transfer window.

Monitoring a report by Sportinglife.ng, indications suggest there is a possibility that Celtic have withdrawn from the race for Ndidi. This withdrawal may have paved the way for Fenerbahce to launch a possible bid for Ndidi.

According to multiple reports, Fenerbahce have reached out to Leicester City and Ndidiā€™s representatives. The initial discussions have reportedly come out positive with Fenerbahce now confident of singing Ndidi.

Fenerbahce ended last season’s Turkish SĆ¼per Lig behind Galatasaray. They will be competing in the UEFA Conference League next campaign.

During an injury-ravaged 2022/23 season, Fenerbahce target, 26-year-old Ndidi appeared 30 times for Leicester in all competitions.
