He urged the faithful to embody the virtues of love, peace, humility, and sacrifice—values he described as essential for the country’s national unity and peaceful coexistence.

“The Christmas season and the New Year present an opportunity for Nigerians to strengthen the bonds of unity, show compassion to one another, and renew our collective commitment to nation-building,” the minister stated.

Beyond the festive greetings, the Minister emphasised the importance of safety during the holiday period. He urged all Nigerians, regardless of their ethnic or religious backgrounds, to pray for the nation, focusing on peace, security, and continued progress.

He also called on citizens to support government initiatives, aligning with ongoing efforts aimed at national development and social cohesion.

Additionally, he encouraged everyone to observe moderation, celebrating responsibly while remaining law-abiding and security-conscious.
