Fiorentina striker Moise Kean has been discharged from the hospital and is in no danger after collapsing on the pitch following a head collision during Fiorentina’s 1-0 defeat to Verona, the Serie A club confirmed on Monday.
The 24-year-old Italian international was stretchered off in the second half, raising concerns given a similar incident involving his teammate Edoardo Bove, who suffered a heart attack earlier this season.
However, Fiorentina reassured fans in a statement, saying, “Kean was discharged from the hospital in Verona overnight and has returned to Florence. Medical and diagnostic tests all produced negative results.”
